A look back on 2011

First things first, I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I can't believe how fast 2011 went by! Last year was definitely a roller coaster ride! We had a lot of ups and we had a lot downs. It was an emotional ride, that made me as person, grow.  The events of 2011 that I had to go through, made me a stronger and wiser person. They made me appreciate the smaller things in life and to make the most of everyday. Last year will always be a year I will be grateful for and it will be a year in my lifetime, I will never forget.

Introducing the Silvas

Last year I took up blogging to vent my frustrations that came along with having shared custody of our children. Sharing custody of children is never easy, especially when the person you have to share custody with is also like a child . As much as it was an outlet, it was hard to actually completely vent because I was in the middle of a custody battle with my daughter's biological father and I had to watch my every move and not do or say anything that could effect my case. But now that the trail is over and Tyson and I have won our case, there really is not too much to vent about anymore. We still have times of frustration, due mainly to Tyson's ex (I'm pretty sure I'll blog about her real soon.. so stay tuned.) but nothing that an entire blog site could be dedicated to.

So now I'm blogging to just let family and friends know what is going on in our lives since we live so far apart and its hard to keep everyone in the loop. So here is a little update..
